Silas turned 2!!!  We celebrated with a thank you party for everyone who supported us through Silas' open heart surgery and recovery. The party was a time of thanking God for all He has done this past year in Silas' life.
We had a caked gifted to us.
My sweet children!!
Mark's mom Connie did all the flowers for the party.
 Silas and Grammie-goo
 Silas and Mema
A sweet friend of ours put together a video showing the memories of Silas' time in the hospital and recovery.
Then we had a wonderful time of worship and giving thanks to God for the mighty deeds He has done in Silas' little life.
We are really good friends with Silas' pediatric cardiologist and his wife.  They go to church with us and gave him a doctors kit....so thoughtful and cute!!
 One year apart!!  Same suite.
The girls got haircuts.....and bangs.
Lulu and I had a violin recital and played a duet.
Isla May turned 4!!!  She got a pretty doll and matching dress......she was thrilled.
Four years old!!!  Such a fun age.
Levi's been helping me in the kitchen a lot.  He loves to help.
And our house is all dried out, now we are planing the repair/remodel.
First we need to remove the red wallpaper.  I had some amazing helpers.
Mark and I celebrated our 10th anniversary!!!  We celebrated the actual day by attending one of our required classes to become a certified foster family.  It was very sweet and in a way symbolic of our marriage and what God has done in the past 10 years.

Ninth Anniversary!

We had the BEST anniversary this year!
I think it just gets better and better each year.  Lulu spoiled Mark and I this year.  The week before our anniversary Lulu asked us if we could help her get some things from the grocery store.  The night before she asked us if she could get up early to "do something."  So the morning of our anniversary we woke up to a very special breakfast in bed.  We had toast with butter, jam and banana on it (interesting taste but not terrible), a plate of fruit and coffee.  Lulu even add a battery operated candle on the fruit plate.

Happy Anniversary Day Trip

Mark and I celebrated our 8th anniversary on Monday.  He took the day off and we got out of town for a little day trip.  On our way out of town we stopped in a cute planned community about 10 min from our house.  They had a general store, cafe, library, fire department and more.  We had fun walking around the surrounding neighborhood and playing in the park.
We went into the general store to buy some water.  The lady behind the counter offered to take our picture and she gave the kids free cookies!
The neighborhood was darling and it was a gorgeous day for a walk.
Back at the park the kids had fun jumping off of the rocks.
Then we got in the van and headed north a couple hours to the town of MaCall.  This is a fun resort town on a lake.  It was fun for us to see a bit more of Idaho.  Since we moved here back in November we haven't gone anywhere so getting out of town was fun.  Back in Boise it was pretty warm and thankfully we had some coats in the van because it was chilly in MaCall.
We went out for a fun anniversary dinner in MaCall.
