We bought a fake tree this year. Pre-lit and we can do colored lights or white. Mornings we have white going and afternoon we have the colors going and evenings we go back to white. Sort of flows with the day.
I gave the kids their ornaments for the year.
Lulu did a lot of the decorating. She loves doing things like this.

Yes! Got ours at Costco. So easy compared to a real tree.
