Window Washer

Levi had the fun job of washing the windows!  He truly had a blast.
And Silas enjoyed watching his big brother work.

Swing Set

We moved two days before Thanksgiving and then it snowed.  So our swing set has been stored in the shed.  We had a beautiful weekend and Mark decided to put it up for the kids.
Mark had some great helpers!
It's up and the kids are having fun!

Boys vs. Girls

 Cabela's vs. the mall.
So the girls needed some shoes and I took them to the mall.  The boys in our family don't even step a foot into the mall because we feel it's just not appropriate.  So while the girls were at the mall getting shoes the boys went to Cabela's!
Turns out the mall doesn't even have shoes that will work.  From now on we are buying things online so we don't even waste a trip to the mall.

House Hunting

My parents were just here for a quick visit so they could house hunt!  It was a fun few days.  What made it really fun was that they found a house, put an offer on it and it was accepted!  Their new house is just a half mile down the road from us. We can walk there!!!
We walked through a good amount of homes.  My dad inspected all the homes with a fine-toothed comb.  This particular home he's looking at was a major NO....HA!....it's interesting how you just know right away if it will work.

Here is their new home!!!
Isn't is darling?  It's perfect for them and just a really sweet house.
After all the house hunting my dad and mom got to relax and play with the kids.
Here's my dad walking through the field next to our house with the kids.
We are so excited to have neighbors!!!

Sun Rise!

One of the best things about our new home is the amazing sun rises we get to enjoy.  Isn't God's creation breathtaking?
The one above is from our deck of the master bedroom up stairs.
Same sun rise just taken from the main lower deck off the kitchen.
And here is my view from the kitchen window over the sink.
And here is another mooring.  This one reminded me of cotton candy.
