Emergency Room Visit

Lulu had been sick for a week and by the weekend she was not able to keep any food in or liquids in.  She got dehydrated and we took her to the ER to hydrate her.  Poor little thing was not feeling well.  They did blood work and some other tests and could not figure out what was making her so sick.
They gave her this bear and she got to bring him home.
Her legs had been bothering her and she was in pain when she walked.  The doctor took her on a walk to see how she was doing.
Finally she was able to fall asleep and rest.
And here is a happy, hydrated little girl!!!  She was feeling great as we left the ER.  Later that day she got sick again and for the next week was still sick.  Thankfully we kept her hydrated and finally she is all better.  Praise the Lord!

My Parents Visit to Boise

We had a wonderful visit with my parents while they were here in Boise.  We stayed busy but also we were able to hang out at home just enjoying the time together.  My dad wanted to take the kids to a candy shop so I did some research and we have 2 (that I know of) in our area.  They both were really fun and my dad was able to spoil them....a couple times.
We found a really fun park and brought a lunch (along with some candy).
Then over the weekend we went to our second candy shop.  This one was everyones favorite.  We spent a long time just looking at all the fun things here.
They had one of Mark's favorite movies from when he was little playing "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" from 1971.

30th Birthday Celebration!!

My parents drove in to Boise yesterday for a visit.  Oh how wonderful it's been to have them here!!!!  We miss them so much and it's so nice to hug them and touch them and see them in person.  My 30th birthday is March 31st and my parents wanted to celebrate it while they were here.
We found a wonderful pizza place close by and the best part about it and one of the reasons we wanted to try it was because of the name.  LuLu's Fine Pizza!  We were very pleased with this restaurant.  It was super casual yet felt a bit fancy.  The atmosphere was perfect, nice music in the background and since it was warm the garage door window was wide open to make it feel like you were eating outside. There was a magnate board for the kids to play with and the important part was that the food was really good!
Lulu wants to start signing her name like this.
Lulu's favorite meal is caesar salad and that's what she had.....appropriately called Lulu's Caesar on the menu.
We had a great night and our time with my parents is just beginning!!!!!!
