Today We Walked and Walked Some More.

My morning didn't start off too well. I chose to sleep in just a bit longer then I normally do, so my quiet time with the Lord was cut short. It's amazing to me that if I'm having a great day it's because I put God first and spent my first part of the day with Him. Praying and spending time in the Bible is so important for me because I really do go to God to get me through each and every day. Being a wife and mom is so rewarding for me but it would be impossible if I didn't have God. My day's are truly a gift from God and I need to go to Him for my guidance each and every day. So, once Mark read from the Bible and prayed for us and headed off to work I bundled us all up and went for a walk. I spent an hour in prayer while walking. What a refreshing hour that was. Here was my view......Lulu sang to Levi while I was praying. The hour walk was great because Levi got his morning nap and Lulu got some fresh air. Then after we were home for a bit and ate lunch we got bundled up again (not as much since the sun was out) and went for another walk. This time it was to the grocery store. I needed a few items and we all needed to burn some energy. Lulu walked the entire way to the store. It's just under a mile to the grocery store. Then she walked around the entire store helping me get the things we needed to buy. Here is Lulu looking over a small bridge. She was looking at the small creek that went under it.Here we are in the parking lot of Safeway after our fun walk. Here is Lulu sitting in the "car" cart. I have never actually used the "car" cart. They seem to be loads of fun but Lulu enjoys walking the store and helping me grab things. On the way home both Lulu and Levi were tired and relaxed. There is nothing better then prayer, fresh air and some exercise. My morning quiet time will now be extending into a early morning walk. Praise God for good weather!!

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
