To the Beach!

This weekend we went to the beach. It was just a day trip but again we found a great little day-cation spot not too far from home (less then 2hrs). This time we drove up towards the Canadian border and spent the day in Semiahmoo. We ate lunch at the beach and searched for neat looking rocks. We brought bubbles too and Lulu was able to just lift the bubble stick in the air and let the wind blow the bubbles for her.
Here's a little (dead) crab that we found.
Levi walked back to the car. He loves walking.
About 5-10 minutes away is Birch Bay and that's where we stopped for some ice cream.
We have been loving our day-cations. We are finding so many neat places to go just for the day.

Day-cations are the best!!!
Looks like you had a great day!!
And I remember when my niece and nephew first learned to walk they were very anxious to try out their new talent. :)
Livi still constantly says, "I walk? I walk?"
I know I can put her on my hip and go way faster but I know to just ask her for her little hand and go with the flow. :)
Hope you have many day-cations to come. :)

You family has the same goal as mine.... find ice cream!
So glad you all had fun!

Boy, you couldn't have gotten much closer to Canada. Looks like everyone had a great time.

This weekend my daughter and her husband crossed the border at Blaine to attend a wedding in Vancouver. Perhaps you passed each other along the way!
